To say that Jerry is left out "as usual" is disingenuous. In most polls that I have read, he seems to, most often, be rated among the top 20 of all time.

I forget whose book this was from (Rifkin's?), but it was a family member. He said something to the effect that Jerry was a good guitar player who was adopted by a large group of dedicated fans.

I'd like to read those ratings, I've never seen him higher than 48 and I agree with the earlier post about his uniqueness and style being so recognizable, to me for its beauty and ability to touch the inner cord that harmonizes life.

I don't have to see him high on these list but he should be acknowledged for his contributions to weave us around the strings of his guitar during those inspiring enthralling and sometimes haunting, impresario improvisations.
